Close to first playable thing!

Since I read "Cabo Trafalgar" (Trafalgar Cape) by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, some years ago, probably in 2005, I felt in love of sailing, naval battles and gun powder! Not even my seaside hometown had ever influenced me in such way.

Then I drew in my head what I wanted to do, a collaborative game to bring to a computer the realism from a battle or a ship race. I am learning a lot of technics, theory and vocabulary related with this topic in order to deliver something that, in the upcoming years, could attract the attention from experts and newbies and give them some fun, that's the goal.

This is the third time that I try to develop something, but this time, in less than the half of the time than others, I have got something nice. Of course, the framework I am using this time (Java + Netbeans + JMonkeyEngine) has a lot to do with this result.

I will keep writing about this game as it evolves. Maybe I got some help.
